Latest Blog: It's Not Flesh, Its Spiritual

2 Corinthians 10: 3-6 “ ³For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  ⁴(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  ⁵Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;  ⁶And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

I believe the above scripture needs to be embraced before you begin this day. I say this because we must overcome the internal battle that comes from us having allowed spirits, not of God, to take hold of us and distort our spiritual vision. The spirits of defeat, self-destruction, low self-esteem, comparison, complacency, anger, fear, ego, elitisms, our past, negativity or pessimism, anything and everything (strongholds) contradictory to the word and promise of God is there to cloud our spiritual vision and spirit. When our vision is cloudy we are not allowed to see God’s work and feel His presence while we are in the midst of going through what He has us going through. ALL things…ALL things, work together and serve to accomplish God’s will and purpose for our lives. Receive that and move forward.

 

However, if you can’t, than you must read 2 Corinthians 10: 3-6 until it takes root in your spirit. So when the moment any thought that contradicts God’s word hits your spirit you are able to count to three….One….Two…Three…and dismiss it from your spirit. 

We must remember that this is a spiritual warfare we fight….so stop focusing on man (flesh) and focus on the real enemy that uses man to do its work. Don’t allow those destructive and negative and EVIL thoughts to continue to grow roots in your mind and spirit. Cut them off before they have time to borough in your spirit and mind and cause you to act out of order and pull you away from the will of God.

Once you really know what you are up against, you will be able to bring the right tools to conquer the battle. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Stand strong and allow God’s purpose to work through you.
