WHO IS MO?
Through trial and error I have made some mistakes – not many are visible – but all have left a reminder of their existence. It is through the scars that I have learned what kind of faith I
have and what kind of God I serve. For close to 5 years now, I have been led to
share some of my scars through daily, weekly or even monthly devotionals.
Now its 2013 and "MoMoments" has its own official Blog!

In 2006, after reading
devotionals I would receive from Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer and others via email,
I felt led to share, with particular people, what God placed on my heart. Their
writings came from them taking their inspired thoughts from God and sharing
them with the public by way of a devotional to help empower and ignite a spark
in the reader’s faith walk with God. Through their inspirational messages, I
began to hear from God in a new way. And, in hearing God in a new way, I found
myself wanting to share what He was saying to me.
What I didn’t expect were the
comments I would begin to receive from those I’d share my messages with. People
began to send emails thanking me for being transparent and authentic. I was
being told that my words blessed them more than the actual devotional.
So, in 2009, after constant
comments and nudging, I started to write my own devotionals and “MoMoments” was
born. For me, I view MoMoments as me sharing my personal journal with strangers
and friends - giving them a peak into my life, where I am, what I am feeling,
and the role God plays in it - being transparent.
In 2010, I was blessed with the
opportunity to post my inspirational messages on Charlotte Gospel Station Praise
Charlotte 100.9FM website (a Radio One
Station). Praise Charlotte’s webpage has over 100,000 viewers. It’s Unique
Visitors count is over 15,000 and they currently have 8,000 members in their
E-Blast Club. Weekly, MoMoments was read by an audience I never could’ve
imagined reaching.
STATEMENT OF FAITH:
I believe Jesus Christ was born, lived, died and rose from the dead for my
salvation. I believe in the Holy Trinity. I believe I am a sinner saved by
God’s grace. I believe I am alive to live out the Great Commission (Matt.
28:16-20) and walk in the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

workshops and travels to churches and community groups speaking to young girls
and women on how to love themselves. The 2015 Duke Divinity graduate has written two children’s books, What Does Beauty Look Like? and What Does Love Look Like? Both available on amazon.com, HizTemple.com and locally at Park Road Books, Charlotte, NC.
